LeadMarmot vs Apollo

Apollo is a B2B contact database and sales engagement platform: search, enrichment, sequences and a dialer. LeadMarmot is the lead generation agent for agencies: every weekday morning, the companies that raised, launched or started hiring, what each needs most, the opening line, and how to reach them.

Everything in the Apollo column comes from Apollo's own pages on 2 November 2026, linked below. "Not stated on their site" means we did not find it there, not that the product lacks it. LeadMarmot does not do everything: no investor or round history beyond the signal itself; no phone numbers; no search across a historical database: the API serves leads by day and by need; cRM delivery through webhook, Zapier, Make or n8n, not a native app.

What Apollo does well

  • Contacts and sequences in one place, so a list becomes a campaign without leaving the tool
  • Very large contact database with direct dials on paid plans
  • Credits scale with the team

Where LeadMarmot differs

  • LeadMarmot is a source, not a database: it hands you the companies that moved yesterday, with a reason to write
  • Need diagnosis and opening lines are not part of Apollo
  • LeadMarmot's file drops into Apollo as a CSV or through the API, so the two work together
